MEC Seminar
If you haven’t secured your registration for the upcoming MEC Seminar on Thursday, November 1st, we still have space available. The seminar will be held in the Alumni Room on the Truman State University campus from 9 am – 4 pm. Since securing Cornell Dillard as our speaker, I have had the opportunity to talk with several individuals who have attended conferences where Cornell was the main speaker. Some of the words used to describe him have been:
- Dynamic
- Entertaining
- Funny
- Informative
Our main topics deal with “Equal Opportunity Employment and the Law”, as well as “Defeating Negativity in the Workplace”. I am confident based on the experience of others and on the descriptions that they have provided that you will be glad you chose to attend.
The $25.00 registration fee provides:
- Both morning and afternoon sessions
- Lunch voucher to the Main Street Market (Student Union Building)
- Parking
- Additional informational sessions by TALIFY and the Missouri Career Center
Please consider joining us on November 1st, from 9 am – 4 pm. While you are encouraged to take full advantage of the full day of sessions and information, if you can only attend for a portion of the day we would still love to see you there! For your convenience, additional informational materials have been attached to this email. We look forward to seeing you there!
